Why do reviews keep mentioning Mark by name?
Because Mark is the one who shows up. ThoroughSpec is one inspector, not a crew, so every review is about the same person: the one who answered the phone, inspected the home, walked the buyer through it and answered questions afterward. Unlike big multi-inspector firms, you know exactly who you're getting.

We were very impressed and satisfied with Mark and his services!
A true professional - he arrived on time, was swift and thorough with his inspections, and extremely patient in answering all the questions we had.
The report that he sent over was clear, comprehensive, and very easy to understand, providing clear action items and digestible language for all the technical details around the home.
Thank you so much, Mark!
My real estate agent recommended Mark at ThoroughSpec to perform the home inspection on my new home. Mark was friendly, informative, patient with all of my questions, and took his time combing over every inch of my new home. I had the written report within 24 hours and it was very detailed with photos and descriptions of the issues he had found. He put my mind at ease regarding some of the "trouble areas" I was concerned with. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark at ThoroughSpec to anyone!
As a home buyer, he was very patient and knowledgable about the inspection process. He is not bothered by questions or following him around! He provides his very detailed and easy to follow report super fast. He was great and we were very lucky to have been recommended to him.
Not only was Thoroughspec competitively priced, but they gave great service that is priceless when you're buying a new home. Mark answered the phone when I called and performed the inspection himself. He arrived early and investigated the property thoroughly (hence the name), paying close attention to all the details. Plus he was friendly, attentive to my questions and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. He sent a very detailed report the next day, with description and pictures, highlighting the most important issues to address.I highly recommend him for your future home inspection.
Just got an inspection done yesterday and being a first time home buyer had no idea what to expect. Mark was very helpful and thorough, made me understand every aspect of the inspection he was doing and gave a lot of background on the way things work and how to DIY on most of the small fixes that the house needed even to the details of where to go and buy the stuff needed for the fix…
